Raising The Vibration Of Your Life

Jan 01, 2018

We live in a ‘causal’ world. Everything we do; our thoughts, our words, and our actions, all begin with a cause and ultimately create an effect.

We are not always aware that we constantly create as we think. Our thoughts produce energy and this, in turn, expands into our aura. If you’re not familiar with the concept of the aura, it is, simply put, the energy surrounding us, which is in contact with our bodies and connects us to even higher energies, as well as the collective energies of all humans, animals and plants. Is it sometimes known as the etheric body, and is a causal layer around each of us, finely tuned to everything we do, say and think. You may have seen aura photographs, or even had one taken yourself, in which the aura is represented by colours and swirling patterns. It changes constantly, ebbing and flowing with our emotions, thoughts and behaviour.

You may think that your thoughts are private, your own and nobody else’s. But your head doesn’t ‘contain’ those thoughts or keep them safe. The cranial bones of your skull are designed to protect the sensitive tissues of the brain and nervous system from physical damage. But thoughts are abstract, they are not physical objects. They don’t have cells that you can examine under a microscope. You can’t see, hear or touch them. But you can feel them. This is because, although thoughts themselves are not tangible, the effects they have certainly can be.

It might help to illustrate this if we think of something else which is abstract, or intangible, such as strong perfume or aroma. Let us say we put a few vegetables into a pan of water. Initially there is nothing much to smell. As we give energy to it, in the form of heat, the vegetables begin to warm up and create an aroma, and as they bubble and simmer the smell gets stronger and spreads into the kitchen. Chances are, we’ll begin to salivate as the food cooks, and we may feel hungry. The simple process of heating a pan of vegetables create emotional, and physical, responses.

Soon the aroma permeates throughout the whole house and out through any open windows into the surrounding area. I’m sure you have known what your neighbours were cooking from time to time, or have caught a waft of delicious food as you passed a restaurant. Those smells will often stimulate memories of times when you’ve tasted that food. They may be happy or pleasurable memories, or may be ones of disgust and loathing. I have heard of people who are brought to tears by certain fragrances, sounds and even colours – unlocking profound memories of happy times, or the melancholy of lost loved ones.

Now think of something which excites you in some way. It doesn’t have to be food, it may be a happy conversation that made you laugh, or a holiday experience. As pleasurable memories come flooding back and your emotions are stimulated, you begin to give energy to that thought. If it is an exciting new idea, or a goal or vision you have, you become so focused on it that your entire waking (and sleeping) thoughts are taken up by it. You become passionate about your idea and it begins to ‘cook’.  Your mood changes and you become more energetic, bright and animated.

Then you share the idea by telling someone. Maybe you tell everyone in your circle of friends and family, or work colleagues, about your idea. Their energy levels also rise as they become part of the enthusiasm and exhilaration that you create. The energy is spilling out and spreading - just like the aroma from the simmering vegetables. Just by thinking about something!

When we give energy to our thoughts, whether in a negative or positive way, we create a vibration that runs through our body.  Sad or fearful thoughts create a negative response, a wave of cold, maybe even a shudder. I am sure you can think of examples of this. We are mistaken if we think we can protect or guard our thoughts. They have a nasty habit of revealing themselves in our facial expressions and in our body language. Positive thoughts are exciting. They literally excite the cells in the body which reacts physically. Consider for a moment and reflect on how a great idea feels in your own body. It creates a passionate response, doesn’t it? A smile. A chuckle. A feeling of elation. These are physical, real-world effects, caused simply by thinking!

So what positive thoughts will you develop today that create new, higher vibrations for all those whose lives you touch?
